A rhinoceros iguana at the Phoenix Zoo keeps its eyes on me. These rather intimidating critters grow to about four feet in length, and in spite of their ferocious appearance, typically eat fruit, leaves, flowers, and berries, although I tell my kids that they eat poorly-behaving children as well.
I want a rhinoceros iguana. When they’re tamed, they’re really lovely animals and just stunning. They’re like dinosaurs.
