Pre-Castro Cuba. A hot Caribbean night. The Habana Hilton. There is a big show for “our foreign friends”. Vicente and Blanca (Cuba and Puerto Rico) perform this number, then Italians sing this, and Luciana performs a Carmem Miranda-like number and Venezuela dances like Tongole.  After the performance, successful and rich Alfred plays a little jazz and René, Jamaica and Greg are part of this kind of orchestra. Mambo and salsa all night long. Rich landowner Spain, and businessman Arthur sip a mojito.  All is glamorous and nice and the Revolution is closer than you think.
